How long are cookies stored for?

Persistent cookies

These cookies remain on a user’s device for the period specified in the cookie. They are activated each time that the user visits the website that created that particular cookie

A browser session starts when a user opens the browser window and finishes when they close the browser window. Session cookies are created temporarily. Once you close the browser, all session cookies are deleted.

What are first and third party cookies?

Whether a cookie is first or third party depends on where it comes from and can be sent by different parties. If the cookie comes from our site it is a first party cookie set by us. If it comes from another site or organisation, such as our suppliers or business partners, it is a third-party cookie, specifically chosen by us to provide a service, such as a more personalised visit.
